A day of Celebration!
Honoring Our Elite Graduates of 2026
June 20, 2026 was a day filled with gratitude, celebration, and unforgettable memories at Long Island Badminton Center.
Before our graduating seniors begin their next chapter in college, the LIBC family came together to recognize four remarkable athletes who have proudly represented our Elite Team since 2021:
Hannah Cheng
Peter Ouyang
Owen Shi
Ricky Deng

Over the past five years, these athletes have grown not only as exceptional badminton players but also as leaders, teammates, and role models. They have dedicated countless hours to training, competed with determination, and embodied the values of discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship that define the LIBC Elite Program.
Watching them mature from young athletes into confident young adults has been one of our greatest privileges. While we will miss seeing them on court every week, we are incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished and are excited to see what they will achieve in college and beyond.
The celebration also gave us the opportunity to honor the amazing fathers of our LIBC community in recognition of Father's Day. Their unwavering support, drives, encouragement during victories and defeats, and countless sacrifices have played an essential role in every athlete's journey. Thank you to all of our badminton dads for believing in your children and standing beside them every step of the way.
LIBC Dads!
To make the day even more special, everyone gathered together to sing Happy Birthday and celebrate two members of our LIBC family, Henry Cheng and Jeremiah Wang. It was a wonderful moment that reminded us that LIBC is more than just a badminton club, it's a community where we celebrate milestones, friendships, and life's special moments together.
Happiest Birthday to Henry and Miah!
To Hannah, Peter, Owen, and Ricky thank you for being an unforgettable part of the LIBC family. No matter where life takes you, you will always have a home at LIBC.
Congratulations, Class of 2026. Once an Elite, always an Elite.
